How It All Began HomiEats began in founder Hector Torres’ kitchen. As a lifelong food lover and entrepreneur, Hector believed that some of the most exciting food creations do not begin in large factories or restaurant chains. They begin in the kitchens and small businesses of passionate people with talent, ideas, and the courage to create something of their own. Yet many talented cooks, emerging chefs, and small food producers face the same challenge: they know how to make an exceptional product, but they do not always have an accessible way to introduce it to customers and build a business around it.
